Michael Zidile, D.D.S. is a Board Certified Periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. His practice is limited to oral hard and soft tissue periodontal reconstruction, periodontal plastic surgery, and the surgical placement of dental implants.

After receiving his Bachelors of Arts at Yeshiva University in New York, he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. Following his graduation with top honors, he was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Zidile went on to complete an intensive three year specialty training program at NYU’s prestigious Ashman Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, where he was mentored by world-renowned experts in the field of oral and periodontal medicine. He has lectured at numerous venues including the Second District Dental Society, the Metropolitan Periodontics Forum and the Tri-School Symposium. Additionally, he has presented at the Greater New York Dental Meeting.

Along with his keen interest in continuing education, Dr. Zidile is passionate about teaching and volunteerism. He currently holds faculty positions at Lutheran, SUNY Downstate, and Methodist Hospitals as an Attending Periodontist in the Department of Dentistry. He trains the dental residents at these hospitals on the latest techniques in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Zidile also participated in a dental mission supporting the Hesed Group & Joint Distribution Committee in Odessa, Ukraine in March of 2008. He is an active member of numerous national and local dental organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, the American Dental Association, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society, the New York State Dental Association, and the Second District Dental Society of New York. He also participates in the Orthodox Dental Study Club.

Dr. Zidile is also an expert witness in the field and actively reviews cases of periodontal and dental implant malpractice.

Dr. Zidile grew up in Brooklyn, where he resides. When he isn’t biking in Prospect Park, he can be found taking pictures of his two daughters, Rachel and Adi.
